Two people were injured Thursday morning in a stabbing inside a Brookhaven Restaurant.

Brookhaven Police Chief Pap Henderson said the incident happened  just after 10 a.m. at Bo Bo's Chinese Restaurant on Brookway Boulevard.

Three employees at the restaurant were involved. Sheg Yang, 28, was reportedly stabbed in the right side, the left side and in the back. He was airlifted to a Jackson hospital. As of Friday afternoon the victim was reportedly in stable condition after going through surgery.

A second victim, Francisco Velasco Zarate, 25, was stabbed in the left arm.

Brookhaven police arrested 48-year-old Velasco Zarate in the incident. He has been charged with aggravated assault.
